Recycling group

Some students involved with RAK delivered a thank you poster for the students that pick up recycling every week at our school. They have been working on this poster for a few days now and today was the day it was delivered. When they showed them the poster they made, their eyes lit up and every one of them started to thank the students. "They even wanted to hang the poster in the hallway" they said. Knowing that they made their day gave all of them a great sense of happiness and pride. Most people don’t know how much their service helps our school, and this poster really made them feel like they were important. What they do does makes a difference. The students talked with one of the teachers that work with the recycling group, and they learned that the money gained is donated to a local charity, which is even more incredible!
