Sometimes a simple hand written letter is all someone needs to smile. My dad was in the Marine Corp several years ago and so when I came across operation gratitude I couldn't pass it up. Operation gratitude is a program where you write letters to deployed troops. You can ask them questions, tell them about yourself, but mainly just make them smile.
